autosafe® ASk02 - Chassis lock and tool system

Description:
The k2 chassis lock security system has been developed to prevent the loss of components and hardware installed within desktop pc's and servers. The innovative and efficient solution of bezel and screw, secure the PC casing to the chassis, thus preventing them being separated. Each individual k2 chassis lock (ASk02) is delivered as a set of 2 bezels and screws with loctite for additional protection.The tool (ASk02T) is sold separately and we recommend a maximum of 50 installs, 25 solutions in total per tool.

How It Works:
The Autosafe k2 chassis lock solution replaces the exiting screw that aligns the chassis and casing together. The k2 screw should be pinch tight and then backed off a quarter of a turn to allow the aluminium shroud/bezel to spin. For increased security we recommend that the shroud/bezel be left to spin. Should a thief attempt to remove the chassis lock by striking the shroud with a hammer and the shroud is able to spin the hammer will be thrown off and the majority of the force dissipated.
